Bible Study - en Français!

Our French Bible Study GroupWe recently joined a bible study group from our church here in Québec.  We’ll be meeting every other week and last night was our first time to get together.  The meeting is in French which will help us in the long run but for now it’s a bit confusing.  Thankfully, one woman in our group is an anglophone and was doing a bit of translating for us.  I was able to say a few phrases in French and in very simple sentences give a prayer request.  People in the group take turns leading the study and my goal is to be able to do that before we leave.   It was fun afterward to just hang out and get to know some people from our church.  We’re going through Timothy and Titus so I’m going to try reading those in my French Bible.  I was able to find a French Bible that uses simple language and verb tenses.  I think it’s probably a childrens bible or something but it helps a lot!

On this day..
