Colds and Coughs

Sick CanaanCanaan has been absent from his nursery due to a lingering cough and cold.  About a week ago he started to develop a deep sounding cough which progressively got worse through out the week.  A cold came with it and his nose has been running like a faucet.  Normally he goes to the nursery Monday, Wednesday and Friday but this week he has only gone on Monday.  On Wednesday Deb stayed home with him, missing a session with a tutor and today I stayed home from class to look after him so that Debra could go see her tutor.  He’s been especially grumpy but I suppose we can’t complain, he is normally a very happy kid.  We are praying that we will recover for Monday, he really enjoys being at the nursery!  We also don’t want Debra to miss any more tutoring sessions.

On this day..

It’s so stinky when the little ones are sick! Brennen STILL has his cough! He’s had it since early October! It seems like these things can hang on forever. I hope Canaan is feeling back to normal soon!

It’s going around for sure–Joey has it too. He has missed one day of daycare and one day of gymboree. It’s starting to get better though–took like 5 days to start seeing some relief. We’ll pray for your family.

Is he learning any new words? Joey’s favorite word right now is “circle”.

Your in our thoughts–all the time!
