Fuite d’huile!

or in english: Oil Leak! Debra called this morning with the news that on the way to see her tutor the oil warning light came on. She pulled over to find that the oil was just pouring out underneath the car. I was about to leave for school but am staying home to help take care of things. We have never had any oil trouble with our car and about a week and a half ago we had our oil changed at a local shop. We suspect that perhaps the oil filter or drain plug may have come loose but the owner of the shop said that if there was something wrong with what they had done they would take care of it. Financially speaking, I sure hope that they did something wrong! Right now Debra is waiting for a tow truck and I’m about to walk to the garage to meet them. Also in our now crazy day is a plumber at 1pm to fix a leak under the bathtub and we have to somehow pick up Canaan by 5pm from his nursery. Pray for us as we take care of this problem and that it won’t be to costly of an ordeal for us. Despite the chaos of the morning God reminded me that no matter what the cost and commotion He is in charge and wanting me to learn something about Him this morning. He is faithful!

Thanks for your prayers!

On this day..

    Hey Guys,

We hope your car is fixed without too much trouble. We’ll be praying for you as you come to mind. Also, thanks for the prayer letter. We enjoyed reading your update.

    In Christ,
    Jake and Erin
