We are getting a nice dumping of snow today! We were wondering if Norm would be able to make it to school today, but the buses were still running! He text messaged me and said that he got on the bus, but that it had slid through an intersection! Scary! There are a lot of “hilly” areas around here. We are constantly stopping at lights and stops signs that are downhill quite a bit! The snow storm hit me before I could make it to the grocery store, so we are here at home with no bread, milk, eggs, potatoes and a lot of other things! But don’t worry we have other things we can eat. I am about to start making a loaf of bread so that we can have sandwiches for lunch tomorrow!

In other news the plumber came by last night at 7:30 and said that the leak was going through the bathtub spout and needed to be cocked to stop the water from the shower head leaking into the wall and the basement. So he did that for us and didn’t charge a thing!!! Yippie! BUT then this morning after our showers I checked the leak to be sure it was taken care of and there was water streaming from the ceiling in to the bucket still!!! Goodness his next trip will be the 5th time!

Also, about the car, we took it into the shop this morning to get our winter tires put on! Thank goodness. I can be a little more comfortable driving now, once they get the roads plowed. Hopefully I will make it to my tutoring session tomorrow! So that means the plumber has been here 4 times so far and the car has been in the shop 3 times so far this month! Its been a crazy few weeks for us.

Thank you so much for keeping us in your prayers! We miss everyone and look forward to seeing a lot of you during the Holidays!

By the way Canaan is now blowing kisses, its so cute.

On this day..

The snow is beautiful. Glad I don’t have to live in it though. Gosh, I’m cold here in California! LOL
