Presentation: Check

Norm's French Presentation It finally came time yesterday for me do my French presentation in class. I was nervous of course but I felt very prepared after weeks of preparation and days on end studying. I’d become fairly accustomed to public speaking but doing it in French was a whole new world! It really was fun and exciting that after four months of French I was able to get up there and talk about something - and more importantly be understood! I spoke about the city of Conakry and showed a couple of videos which I made in the summer about our trip there. Overall I think it went really well and I was happy to share about our future home. Embedded below is a recording of my presentation, I don’t expect anyone to listen to the whole thing but if you want you are welcome to listen for a few seconds to see how I sound in French! Excuse all my ‘ums’ and ‘ahs’. As well, my pronunciation wasn’t that great, and I’ sure that my grammar is all wrong in places but it was a great exercise and I know that I learned a lot from doing it.

Special thanks to everyone who has been a part of us being here through prayer, finances and encouragement. We can’t thank you enough!

The last task before Christmas break is exams, six to be exact! I’m not terribly excited about them, but hey, it’s another great opportunity to learn and that is what we are here for!
