Today I completed my final exam! I am so happy to be done for a little while though we will continue to practice our French throughout the Christmas Break. Today’s test was on grammar and I think that it went pretty well, it was difficult and challenging but I felt that it was a fair representation of what we had learned.
On another school note, I received my mark for my French presentation on Conakry. I thought that it went well and apparently my teacher felt the same. I received a 39/40! I was docked a marked for looking at my notes. It was definitely encouraging to read her notes, we need all the encouragement we can get while we study French.
With all the busyness of exams, I nearly forgot that tomorrow we are leaving for California! Now that school is over we are ecstatic to be able to focus on family and friends and to have a relaxing holiday. We’ll be in California until just before the New Year and then we’ll be heading to Ontario, Canada to spend time with the other side of the family.

Glad you are there and not here.. Dad is just putting chains on the truck to get it out of the driveway to plow… Several feet of snow in the driveway.. Maybe we should be there too!!!
