It seems that we left the frozen depths of Canada just in time! Hours after we took off for California a snow storm began that has ravaged central and eastern Canada. Québec has been hit pretty hard with about 50 cm increading the already record setting levels of snow. But here we are in California! We are just thankful that we avoided the flight cancellations. Though we avoided the storm we didn’t escape colds and sore throats. Debra has a terribly sore throat, she can’t talk and its very painful for her to swallow and eat. Pray for Debra as she battles her sore throat, I really just want her to have a relaxing Christmas with her family. Canaan too has not been up to par. He’s had an upset stomach resulting in 5 times as normal diaper changes. This has created an extremely sore behind! Despite the sickies we are thankful to be with family and friends through the Christmas holidays.

glad you made it safely to sunny california. I’m way too jealous right now!:) AS for Canaan not feeling well, Rachel has a bout of it a few weeks ago…massive poopies all day and night. Someone told me to put her on the “brat” diet. It stands for bananas, (can’t remember what the r stands for:)) Apple sauce and Toast. Also Pedilight freezies and beverages like gatorade help with keeping them hydrated!
