Carnaval de Québec

Our guest left this morning for their long trek back to Ontario. We had a great time together playing Risk, watching movies, building igloos, playing childhood computer games (THANKS KANE!) and much more. We also had a chance to visit the world famous Québec Winter Carnival. We had fun searching for bonhomme, snow rafting, tubing, looking at snow sculptures and touring an ice castle. Ken pushed Canaan around for the entire day giving Debra and I freedom to explore and do more than we could have. We took lots of video while the guys were here (including some great skiing footage) that I’m going to try to edit over the next few weeks. Here are a few pictures from our adventure.

I love the Carnaval. When we were there both Liz and I volunteered there. It was a lot of fun. See ya, Darcy

You’ll have to save all these photos to show Canaan what snow is when he is in Africa. What a contrast in climate!

WOW! That’s so cool! I wish we had something like that here although I’m sure the nearly 70 degree weather wouldn’t be so grand for the ice! LOL Looks like you had a fun time.
