Backyard Nostalgia
As soon as the guys (Ken, Brendan and Colin) got here last week they mentioned their desire to build a fort in the back yard. It had been a long time since I last built a snow fort with my brother and so we spent an afternoon carving out the inside of the giant pile of snow on our back porch. We cleared away some of the snow from our porch door so we can now see a little more than sky from the inside. Before it got too dark we were able to tunnel all the way through along with a decent sized cavern on the inside.

Awesome fort! My boys sure would love to do something like that. I sometimes wish it would snow here….not all the time, just maybe for a week or so! I don’t know if I could live in the snow. I mean, I get cold in California winters!
