Reading Week & Peco

I had my final mid term today!  I had four in total in the areas of speaking, writing, grammar and phonetics.  They went fairly well over all but you never can be sure.  The great thing is that I learned a lot studying and that is what counts, I’m not here for marks or a diploma - I just want to learn French!  I have one more day of classes tomorrow before we start ‘Reading Week’, although I don’t know how much reading will happen.  We are excited for the break and really feel that its needed, our brains fry quickly!  As Debra put it, ‘We have french fried brains!’

A few days ago we were chatting with our friend Peco, a missionary en-route to Indonesia and my college / PNG roommate.  We mentioned how great it would be to see him before he leaves for Indonesia in April and one thing led to another when suddenly he was buying tickets!  Peco will be here for a few days and we’ll do our best to give him a little taste of Québec City.

On this day..
