More deadend phonecalls
Our search for a doctor continues, so far with out much luck. Our tutor gave us a number of a doctor who could probably take us but she is away for a week or so. I tried to make an appointment but the receptionist said to call back when she returns. That lead sounds the most promising but we’ll continue to search while we wait for that doctor to return. Someone gave us the name of an organization that specializes in pregnancy problems, I’m going to try do some research about them as well.
On the french side of things, the semester is sailing a long, but I have been encouraged lately. I’ve been doing all that I can to speak at any opportunity. At a store, even if I don’t need a bag, I ask for one. You know those people that sell raffle tickets and such at grocery stores? I talk to them to and hear about what they are promoting. I’ve received a lot of head knowledge at the University and if I was able to easily use everything that I understand in my head, I’d be pretty happy! So it comes down to practice. I have a new conversation partner that I will be starting with on Thursday as well. I’m excited about that opportunity to speak in French. Debra is doing great too, and she is finding it the same as me as far as needing to practice in order to freely use the vocbulary and grammar that she has accumulated.
