Getting Old

I suppose that I should consider myself lucky since my dad starting going gray in his early twenties, but it is starting. Debra has found a few grey hairs on the back of my head before but I couldn’t see them so I quickly forgot about them. This one stared me in the face yesterday, not only because of it’s obvious colour difference but also because it stubbornly refused to go with the flow and instead wants to point the opposite direction of the rest of my hair. I jokingly blame Canaan but I had it coming. Anyone else making the same scary discovery? :o)

Oh yeah, years ago. I visit the Salon du Mehmet every 6-8 weeks! I’m so glad I live in an age of good hair colour! Of course it’s different for men…

Hey Norm You have a bit of the “mad scientist” look happening. You must of gotten all those gray hairs from your father.. I sure don’t have any. Hehe!

Come on now Norm, with 5 boys, you don’t want to even KNOW how many of those buggers I’ve found on my head. I would just pluck them out but I’m afraid I’d be nearly bald if I did. Luckily it’s pretty normal for girls to color their hair! LOL

    Oh Norm!
Don’t worry, Derrick still has you beat…
    But just for encouragement:

Proverbs 16:31 gray hair is a crown of glory. It is attained by a life of righteousness.

I keep telling Derrick that verse when someone mentions that he is getting more gray hairs!:)
Hope that puts a smile on your face.

Thanks for the heads up on Vegas! Good thing for us were going to have our layover in the morning/afternoon. So we’ll see what we decide to do. I’m a little scared now though after your comment…

Yeah, I’m right there with you Norm. Erin noticed a couple of gray hairs the other day. Mine are a little less unruly though, and lay flat.
