Les Livres de la Bible

Last week I finished my course at the university and had just enough time to catch my breath before diving into a new course today. I started a theological course in French with Debra’s tutor. Myself and two other missionaries will be learning biblical terminology, how to pray in French and many other things. I had to hand in a sermon in French today which I spent most of my weekend creating. Today was an introduction covering mostly vocabulary. One thing that was interesting was our reading of the names of the books of the Bible. The three of us missionaries took turns reading the names of the books of the Bible in English while our tutor gave us the French name of each. Many were similar, many were not! I’ve embedded below the audio for those who might be interested!

On this day..
