Fat Lip
Canaan and I were playing in the kitchen this afternoon when he fell over and did a face plant on the floor. Blood was pouring out of his mouth and I was very worried at first but it looked much worse than it was. He had bit his lip and it was quickly swolen. He seemed to forget all about it when we gave him a freezie (or otter pops as Debra calls them). Only the middle of his lip swelled, here’s a picture (along with a dirty face right after supper):

I had forgotten all about Otter Pops…it’s been so long since I’ve heard that brand name. I guess I’ve been converted to the “freezie” way. Glad Canaan’s injury didn’t end up being something horrible.
Otter pops?!? I’m trying to imagine why they would be called that. I can see an otter on it’s back in the water sucking on a freezie holding on to it with both of it’s paws…. Poor little Canaan. Glad he’s no worse for the wear.
