Michigan at The Copeland Ramblings

We’ve spent the last few days in Michigan catching up with some friends before heading down to Illinois for a family reunion. We have been staying with Matt and Jasmine Bennett, our good friends from college. Matt and Jasmine have a little boy the same age as Canaan and it has been fun to watch the two of them interact. Thanks so much Matt and Jasmine for your generosity!! We also had the opportunity to see the Dueck family, we will be working with them in Guinea, we were able to ask some questions about Guinea. Yesterday we had lunch with Kevin and Melissa Crowell. Kevin was my dorm in college and though they moved off to Wyoming and us to Canada we’ve kept in contact. We were excited to find out that they were visiting in Michigan for a few days and of course had to take the opportunity to hang out. Here’s a picture of Kevin, Melissa and Canaan:

We will be in Illinois for a couple of days and then on to California for two weeks. Looking forward to seeing all of our Californian friends and family!
