Abe is Scary

We are in Illinois attending a family reunion for Deb’s dad’s family. The Rutledge family has a lot of history in this area, in fact, Debra’s ancestor Ann Rutledge was engaged to Abraham Lincoln though she died of typhoid before they were married. We visited the Lincoln museum which for me was very interesting (I really enjoy history). Canaan though was a little concerned with the wax figures, I’m pretty sure he thought that they were real and by the look on his face Abe is a scary guy!

What a cool blog. On Friday we were studying Abe and Ann R. The girls are in the middle of learning all about Abe L. Your blog couldn’t have came at a better time. Canaan is being cute. That was the same face Sam gave when we went to the Creation Museum in Kentucky when he saw a Dino. Althought I think Dino’s are more scary than Wax people or maybe wax people are more scary? LOL
