California Sunshine
After the family reunion in Illinois we all hopped on an airplane and headed down to California. We will be here for another week and a half before returning to Ontario. We have truly enjoyed the last couple weeks, they have been a welcome and much needed break after our French course in Québec.  We had been feeling pretty burned out, it was time for a break. It is a joy to watch Canaan play with his grandparents and other family members, he just adores them and hardly notices us anymore!
On another note, I often listen to a podcast called ‘Nobody’s Listening‘, it’s hosted by a youth pastor in Missouri and is all about funny and embarrassing stories. He shares his stories and listeners call in with their own, I always get a good laugh out of it. For my birthday a couple of weeks ago Debra wrote a message to be read on the show. She also included a story about Canaan, his over active bowels, and my face, which was read on the show. I’ve embedded the podcast episode below, Deb’s message begins at 0:48 and is followed by the story.
