We’ve been in our temporary home for about 3 days now, busily unpacking arranging and often fixing. I arrived home this evening from a meeting and found a bouquet of fresh cut flowers on our door step! There wasn’t any sort of note but we feel very welcomed to our neighbourhood. The house we live in has been vacant for quite some time, close to 20 years I think. The neighbours have all been watching us as we have slowly moved ourselves in. It’s sad when when we meet someone and then we tell them that we are only here until the new year - most of the neighbours have never seen anyone living in our house! I’ve been praying that the surprise of someone finally living in this house will give us opportunities to meet our neighbours and develop some friendships. Seems like someone around here is up for that!

THE FLOWERS ARE GORGEOUS, A REALLY FINE WELCOME!!
I CAN WELL IMAGINE THAT THE NEIGHBOURHOOD WILL WELCOME A YOUNG FAMILY.
What a great treat to come home to.
What an awesome welcome. What a fun mystery it will be to try to figure out who left them. I’m sure you’ll make many friends before you’re done with your time there…..
