Freebie at The Copeland Ramblings

Yesterday we were in a store here in Mount Forest when Canaan spied a great looking toy Camaro on the shelf. It was only a dollar (which I thought I had in my pocket at that point) so I picked up and to his delight put it into his hands. He was overjoyed and spent many minutes examining it through the packaging. As we were getting ready to leave I realized that I didn’t have the toonie in my pocket as I had thought and we were going to have to leave the Camaro. Canaan was devastated and sadly cried. An older woman was working at the store and noticed our situation and decided that Canaan really should have that car! She took a dollar out of her purse, paid for the car and gave it to Canaan. We made sure that he said many thank you’s before we opened it up for him. His uncle Kenny has a Camaro (though white and not a convertible) and Canaan has made the connection between his Camaro and Uncle Kenny’s and seems quite proud!
