Only one more week before the Bike to Africa bike-a-thon! Next Saturday Ken and Brendan will bike 200kms to raise money for our shipment to Guinea next spring. People are pledging either per KM or mile or giving one time gifts. All donations are tax deductible! So far, $660 has been pledged, we are very thankful for the pledges received thus far.
Interested in keeping tabs on Kenny and Brendan next Saturday? We will be doing two live broadcasts during the bike-a-thon. You can watch them either here (copelandramblings.com) or at http://biketoafrica.co.nr . The two broadcasts are scheduled for 10am and 5:30pm on August 30th. We will also have a map with their current location up and running. If you live in the area and would like to cheer them on you can visit one of their checkpoints at either: Mount Forest, Dundalk or Angus, Ontario. Contact us for more info.
