Back Home to the Frigid North

As you can probably tell from a lack of posts, we were either exceptionally busy these last few weeks in California or we were just simply spending time with family and loving it!  You can take a guess at which one it was, I’ll just say that it was incredibly relaxing and exactly what we needed before diving back into our normal responsibilities.  We celebrated my father-in-laws Birthday, and watched with joy each day as Canaan played with his grandparents and aunts and uncle.  On Monday Kathleen had surgery and we were very thankful that we were able to be there to help in any way.  We left around noon on Tuesday and rolled into our house late Wednesday evening.  Canaan did great on our two flights, he played with his cars and watched plenty of episodes of Shaun the Sheep.  We arrived home last night to a frigid home!  It had been a cold couple of weeks in our absence and our house seems to hold the coldness like no other!  We turned on a couple of heaters and bundled up.

Debra did alright travelling, she’s tired out but it went well. November 17th is coming fast!  We are getting more and more excited about the the arrival of Emmaus, and I think that Canaan is too!
