Still waiting!
Just wanted you all to know we are still here and waiting! Waiting on the Lord to bring the baby boy out to see us! Pray for rest, physically and emotionally and spiritually!! Please also pray for wisdom as some of my family is trying to decide if they should extend their plane tickets!

I think they should extend them ;) How often do you get to hang out with a brand new miracle. {{hugs}} and Prayers.
Talk to the miswives about getting things going. Stretch and sweep, caster oil, herbs, bowling, long walks, going to the movies, running up hills, accpressure points, enemas, nipple stimulation via breat pump.
we’re still thinking about you and hoping that Emmaus decides to come soon, waiting can be such a pain. I hope that the family can extend their stay, it would be a shame to come up there only to miss the big event. Please tell Kathleen a Happy belated B-day from us. Keep hanging in there…what else can you do, It’ll hopfully be over soon. Love ya all, Auntie Judy
Darling Debs: This is what worked for me, but it was purely by accident. I was feeling great and had been cleaning house all day. Late in the afternoon I realized I needed another diaper pail since the old one was still in use. I drove quickly to town, dashed into the store, purchased a pail, ran outside, jumped off the curb (oops) and into the car. By 8:00 p.m. I was in the hospital and your Aunt Leah was born two hours later, and 12 days early. I don’t recommend this method—was only 21 and didn’t know any better.
Debra, I really feel for you! Brennen was a full week late. BUT, I felt fabulous and was in no rush. Just keep reminding yourself that God has a perfect plan and it is a surprise. You know he’ll be here sooner or later so try not to worry or stress out. Enjoy the time with your family. They should extend their stay! No matter when Emmaus arrives, it’ll be nice to enjoy each others company even longer, right? Take care……
Debra,I remember how hard it is those last few days…dragging on. I choose to take the high road and beg my doctor to induce asap!! It worked, something to consider!!! :) Tell your mother I said hello. Praying.
Hey Deb and Norm!
I know it must be frustrating to wait. When I was expecting Will, my mom sent me a book I really enjoyed – it’s called “Mothering by Heart,” by Robin Jones Gunn. One of her journal entries was called “Waiting,” and I thought you might enjoy reading it – I always loved it.
Dear baby, here beneath my heart,
I thought you might come today;
the timing just seemed right.
But the stars are out
and the moon is high
and sheepishly I wonder why
I try to arrange the plans
of God.
For now I know
you will not come
until the One who holds eternity
rustles your soft cocoon and
whispers in tones I will not hear,
“It’s time, precious gift.
Now it’s time.”
Hang in there Deb – and we’ll be checking in every day and holding you guys in our prayers!
Love, Kathy, for all the Martins
Hey Deb, Since everyone is giving suggestions…my mom took codliver oil (or maybe it was castor oil)at the end of one of her pregnancies, and she went into labor just a few hours later. =) So there you go. =) I know God has a plan, and the little guy won’t be in there forever. Really! =)
