The Newest CHP Recruit
We haven’t yet been able to settle down yet into any sort of routine for a couple of reasons: our belongings aren’t here yet and our apartment isn’t ready yet. Despite those things, we’ve been busy collecting donations from the church. People have been generously giving items to furnish and outfit our new apartment. We weren’t able to ship everything needed so this is a huge blessing! Canaan’s had a great time with his aunts, uncle and grandparents. He still hasn’t clued into the fact that we are indeed in California. He continues to ask when we’re going there.
We’ll be staying at Gregg and Kathleen’s for a little while, until our apartment is available which will hopefully around the 1st of February. We are looking into getting into a good routine here and beginning our work again. Preparing for our journey to Africa is a big job! Thanks for praying and being a part!
Here’s a picture of Canaan, who thinks that his Uncle Gregg is so cool!
