Holding Pattern

Ever been on a flight, ready to land when you hear over the loud speaker that the plane is going to have to wait in a holding pattern until there is room to land? That is kind of how we feel. We’ve arrived in California. Our shipment arrived in California. The only problem is that our apartment is still not yet ready.  We were originally told the 20th of January. Then the 25th. Then the 1st or 2nd of February. Last we heard it was potentially the 4th or 5th. Today! I’m about to give our landlord a call and see what is going on.

It hasn’t been that bad, in fact, we’ve had a blast staying at Gregg and Kathleens, but we are ready to get settled down. We’ve been able to make a temporary home here and do as much work as possibly can. Kathleen makes no secret of the fact that she’d love for us to just stay.
