Mama, Tu nous manque!
We miss you mom! Canaan has been saying that ever since Debra left for Canada a few days ago. At 5:40am Wednesday morning we left for the airport, Debra was on her way to Canada. This is only the third time we’ve been separated in our nearly five years of marriage, definitely not something we are used to! Canaan has been doing well though thanks to our family that lives nearby. He hasn’t been stuck with just me :o) We are making do but it’s just not the same around here without her! Debra has a citizenship hearing on Monday, the purpose for her trip. If you think of it, please pray for Debra that she can clearly explain her intent for becoming a Canadian citizen and that our sometimes bizarre status as missionaries won’t confuse things. Just before writing this post I had left the photobooth application open on my computer, when I came back I found a picture that Canaan had taken himself. Here it is:
