Wordle Word Clouds – An Interesting Look at Data
I stumbled upon a neat site called Wordle. Wordle lets you input either text, rss feed or webpage and it will give you a visualization of the frequency of certain words in the text. The more frequent a certain word is in the text the bigger it will be. Feeding it chapters of the Bible are really neat. Here is one of Genesis chapter 1:
Many of you have probably seen those lists on Facebook of people’s ’25 Random Facts’. They’re interesting as is but I thought I’d see what happened if I put some of them into Wordle. I really liked how Debra’s 25 Random Facts turned out:
Here are a few other’s I did. Try some out yourself and share your creations in the comments by copying the URL for your Wordle creation.

Hi! It’s been so long since I’ve left a comment here, but I’ve popped in now and then. I finally got my own blog up and running, and since then have changed to a new theme. Thanks for your help and encouragement in the initial stages. I’m a WordPress Girl now! :)
Congrats on the birth of Emmaus and your upcoming adventures. I will definitely stay informed.
LOVE the wordle thing – it’s addictive! Here’s one I did with the ‘about me’ page on my blog.

I love the Wordle thing! I’ve been meaning to get around to doing my “25 random things” list for FB – now I have added incentive. :-)

Wow, that’s so neat! I love words, and pictures of words as well. I have done some artwork using words as the main focus and these creations made with “Wordle” remind me of them. I love these…thanks for sharing! It will be fun to play around with this tool some day. =)
