A Canadian Citizen in…..

about 7 hours and 45 minutes! But who’s counting? Debra left last Saturday for Canada to attend her swearing in ceremony as a Canadian citizen. I won’t say too much more about it right now since I’ll likely post on it again tomorrow once we have pictures and it is official. Her ceremony is around 10am EST so if you think of it then, thank the Lord with us for the end to a long journey!

On another note, my friend Adam (a friend I grew up with in Canada) is here for an impromptu visit. Adam is a truck driver and was assigned a load for the Los Angeles area. He managed to get a couple of days off and came up our way for a visit and noticed right away that I didn’t make him coffee (since I don’t drink it myself) or bake for him, both of which he is accustomed to when he visits and Debra is here. Adam has been to all of the continental states save Louisiana and showed me some pictures from his journey. Here’s a road sign he saw yesterday which I found quite funny:

It is Russian for 'Grilled Cheese' ~ Jared Young
