Shipment Update

A lot of this will be old news if you follow me on twitter or are friends with me on facebook but nevertheless I thought I’d give a quick update on our blog concerning our two shipments to Guinea. As you may recall, we sent our first small shipment back in may. The process has gone surprisingly well, in fact, it is sitting in our house in Guinea right now! Our second shipment wasn’t able to go out on schedule, but that turned out to be a blessing. It spaced out our shipping payments and the timing of that second shipment turned out for the better. It is now on it’s way to North Carolina where it will be shipped to Guinea. All going well (which is definitely not guaranteed) the second shipment will get to Guinea not long after we do, much sooner than we had originally guessed. We will likely do another small shipment later in the year once we are settled in and decide if we need any more supplies.
