11 Days and Counting
Today has been all about communication. Or at least preparing to communicate. Debra and I try to make use of online tools so that we can keep you up to date on our ministry and lives. We’ve been trying to think forward to our time in Guinea and plan ahead so that we can continue to share on an almost daily basis. This afternoon I’ve been setting up the ability to post to our various online presences by email. It may be difficult for us to access websites but we will likely have frequent access to email. Now we can post to our blog, facebook, twitter and my french blog with a simple email.
We’ve also updated the theme to our blog. I’m working on redoing most of the pages (about, contact, etc) so they may be weird for the next week or so. The regular side bar is there with most of the same elements as before. Scroll down to the bottom of the side bar, there is a simple little message box. Type something there and it will be sent right to us, give it a try, we’d love to hear from you! Also, if you look in the comments area of a post you’ll notice that next to my comments there is a profile picture. You can get one beside your comments too by visiting Gravatar. Gravatar’s are enabled on many sites around the web, if you comment on those sites you will see your Gravatar.
Any thoughts on how we can best keep in contact with you? We’d love to hear them!
Come back tomorrow for another pre-Guinea post!

Will we be able to send mail to you?
Yes, you should be receiving a post card in the mail with information on how you can write us and keep in contact. Did you receive the first post card a week or two ago?
Thinking of you guys and praying for you as we prepare to head this way. See you in the nearish future.
Thanks Faith! Looking forward to seeing you guys, I guess at the end of our ‘quarantine’!
