6 Days… Disneyland and a new doo!

Less than a week! We leave for Guinea next Tuesday,this last week has gone by fast, I’m sure the one coming will go even faster. This last Tuesday was Deb’s birthday and we celebrated it with a trip to Disneyland. It was so much fun to watch the boys as they encountered new sounds and sights. Canaan recognized all sorts of characters, he couldn’t get enough of it! I’m certain that his hi-light was seeing various Car’s characters. We stayed up REALLY late, we didn’t leave the park until 12am, making for a long day on Tuesday but well worth it. Disneyland has to be the cleanest park I’ve ever seen. Gregg and Kathleen went with us, letting us have some time together before our departure.

The day after Disneyland Kathleen took Deb to her hair stylist. Debra received a brand new hair cut that will hopefully be more manageable in Guinea. Long hair is hard to dry, I’m certain she’ll be happy about it once get get to Guinea. A long with new hair were a pair of new glasses! I’m very thankful for these new glasses, she’s been using her old pair since the first year of our marriage.

It’s been great to see as many people as possible before leaving. We haven’t been able to see everyone we’ve wanted, this last week sure crept up on us!
