Travel Plans
As many of you have heard, we now have tickets for our family to fly to Senegal. Our tickets are for April 24th from LA to Dakar Senegal. We praise the Lord that these tickets did not cost us anything extra. When we left Guinea late last October we bought round trip tickets expecting that we’d be able to return mid February. Obviously that didn’t happen but Air France allowed us to use those return tickets to go to Dakar – with no penalty! It was a bit of a roller coaster though, at first they said they would do it, but when I called back they changed their mind. After explaining the situation to a supervisor they again agreed to change our tickets.
Before then, I (Norm) plan on travelling to Guinea for a couple of weeks to box up our belongings, sell what I can and spend some time with Pastor Samuel and his family who hosted us during our time there. I don’t yet have tickets for that flight but should have the visa in the next day or so. I will probably leave in the next week or two.
Thank you so much for your love, encouragement and patience as we have sorted through this situation. Our desire all along has been to simply do what God wants. Thanks again! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email or call us.
