The countdown has begun! One month left!!!
Wow, can it be true? One month from today we will be headed off to Senegal, West Africa! Â We are so excited to get back into the swing of things over there. Soon as we get back we will start right back into our language and culture learning. We will likely be doing classes each day, spending lots of time with locals, learning a new city, learning how to get around in the local markets, going to our new church and making all sorts of new friends.
We have a lot of things to accomplish with the remaining time! Please pray that we will be able to accomplish all that we can before flying out.
Please be praying for the kids as we prepare for this new venture. We have been moving them around a lot and they have been in a new home 5 times in the last year. That is a lot for a little kid to take on.
We are so thankful for a loving God who is in complete control! Our last year has been nothing like we expected yet God knew it all in advance. Thank you again for the encouragement you have been to us, we are very thankful to God for the support team that He has given us.

Wow, are you frustrated yet? So are the boys showing any signs of all their moves and transitions? If they are what are they? Curious minds want to know. A friend of mine said it take X amount of moves to equal what a family feels like in a house fire. I’m sure you have reached that number times 2 house fires. Thanks for all your post and we’ll keep praying for you all.

Hi Ang! How are you guys?? Are the boys showing signs? Some days I think so. I can’t really tell what they would be like if we didn’t move around so much because we always do. But Canaan talks about all his other houses a lot and gets them mixed up. Asks about people and things that are not here. I think he is a little confused about us moving to Senegal. He seems excited but he tells us he is going to go see people who live in Guinea. I think somedays the kids are begging for a lot of security and stability because of the fact that we move a lot. I am really looking forward to getting settled in to our new house. ~Deb
