Parc Forestier de Hann
Canaan and Emmaus just finished a week long break from school. Even though Deb and I continued our classes we made time each day to get out with the kids. Canaan would have been happy to play at the house all day long but after just a few hours in doors Emmaus seems to go nuts! We found a nearby park that has been a real blessing. There is a walking trail through a small forest and while we are there we can almost forget that we are in a large city! It’s a great place for the boys to stretch their legs, and also for a bit of geocaching. This is yet another reason we have been so thankful for our recent move, the park is very close to our new apartment.
The boys started back to school yesterday. While I will miss our frequent walks, they sure were excited to get back on that bus! Emmaus practically threw himself into the arms of the teacher waiting for him in the bus. Thanks again for your prayers as we continue in our ministry of integrating into the Senegalese church, language and culture.
