Happy 29th Birthday Norman!

Happy 29th Birthday Norman! What a year it has been for you! Last year we celebrated your 28th birthday in Senegal. We woke up early and painted happy birthday all over the walls! This year you have learned how to drive a stick shift and learn how to drive the crazy streets of Senegal. This year you attained the required level of French, after years of faithful study. This year you were my hero and rescued me countless times. This year you lead our family with great faithfulness and love. This year you were a shoulder to cry on, a friend to laugh with, a huge encourager, a spiritual leader, a best friend to adventure with, a great friend to all around, and extremely selfless and always putting other ahead of yourself.

We are so incredibly lucky to have you as our daddy, husband, brother, son, friend and co-worker. You are a bright light of God’s love. Thank you for being who you are! I hope you enjoy your last year of your 20′s!
