Missin’ my wife!! :o(

Well, today I drove Debra Lynn to the airport before work…. in Buffalo. Yes, it has been a long day already and I haven’t even started work. I’m going to miss Debra like crazy, luckily I get to see her on Thursday when I fly down to California. She’ll have lots of fun down there hanging out with her sisters. Not only will I miss her so much, but I may have to make my own lunches…. yes, I’m sure you all feel my pain.

Valentines <3

You may have noticed that we haven’t posted many picture during the last few days, thats because our computer and our camera apparently aren’t speaking to eachother anymore. It used to auto-detect it, now for some unknown reason it decided to suddenly stop doing that. Anyways, enough about my computer woes. Deb and I had a good weekend, short, but good. I had to work on saturday, but don’t have to go back till Monday evening at 6:30. We went out for Valentines sunday night, we went out for coffee, dinner at the Outback and then went to the movies. We saw Million Dollar Baby. A good movie, but as we found out, not really a good valentines date movie. It was really sad, well made, but depressing. This coming week is going to be crazy. I start on the evening shift, but on Tuesday inbetween shifts I’m going to drive Deb to Buffalo for her flight to L.A. Then on Thursday I’m flying to L.A. We’ll try and get some pictures up of our weekend away! Deb’s looking forward to going down and helping Kathleen prepare for her wedding.

This is about what it looks like outside. I am glad we have been getting a bit more coating… it was looking pretty drab!
Bachelorette Party!
Well, I am planning a bachelorette/bridal shower for my sister. She put one on for me right before my wedding, so now its my turn. I am really excited, I just hope I live up to her expectations and that it is as good as the one she did for me! =) We are playing a few cool games, lots of stuff to do with “the first night” type stuff. =) If you have any game ideas or anything let me know!! I have never done one of these before. I am really excited. I love being able to be creative. I will only know few of the people coming… but I am really excited to get to know some new people. Well, put on your thinking caps and send me some ideas!!! Thanks! Debra

Well I said before that Norm was making headliners, well thankfully he has been switched to making rear seat for the Dodge Magnum and Chrysler 300! This is a heck of a lot more physically demanding but much more exciting. We are really thankful that he has been switched! God is great! He was switched because some girl was on rear row and she couldn’t do it because it was so physically demanding, thus they switched her with Norm!!! Yeah! We also found out that our good friend Adam is going to be temping at JCI, on Norm’s shift. This is so great to be able to have some friends there to eat lunch with and such. YEAH! Hopefully they will both settle in well. =) Debra
Its me again! I haven’t put a post up in a while….
Its me again! I haven’t put a post up in a while. Sorry! Life has been hectic… We went to Toronto, as you know. That was fun. I really enjoyed seeing a little more of Toronto, and being in the city again! I really am adjusting to the county life… I really like it. It snowed today. It was great to see a white blanket form over the dirty brown snow, that has been melting… =( We thought spring was showing its beautiful face for a few days there… but we were wrong. I am a little happy and a little sad. I am glad to have more time to enjoy my first real winter. I want to go sledding again before it all melts away for good. I did enjoy the warmth and having clear roads… But it sure was ugly out there. No green, no white, nothing! It was all brown. Hopefully the cottony white will stick around for awhile.
Norm is at work right now, I have to leave in a couple minutes to pick him up. I went to see him at lunch. That was awesome. I love having him work so nearby. =) He is doing well there, but really misses his old job. His friends and familiarity. His new job is extremely boring. He is building the headliners for some Chryslers. Its no where near as complicated as building the seats. =( I think he will get used to it though. Well, now that I have bored you all, I must go pick up my beloved! I am so excited. =)

How Good is Good Enough?
Deb and I have been reading this awesome book called ‘How Good is Good Enough’. It’s really an awesome book, it’s SO logical which is what I appreciate about it. Basically it critiques the popular notion that ‘good people go to heaven’ and why that theory just doesn’t hold up under any sort of scrutiny. No matter what your view is on this, it only makes sense to look at all sides of the issue. If you have any questions about this book, email us!

Separation is coming!
Our trip to California is coming up, so far everything is going pretty smoothly. My birth certificate is on they way and our tickets are booked. Because of those vouchers we got in December, our flights were sooo cheap, Deb’s was $45 from Buffalo and mine was a hundred more from Toronto. Deb leaves next Tuesday so that she can help Kathleen get ready and to hold a bachelorette party for her. I barely managed to get the Thursday, Friday off work so I don’t leave till the end of the week. The wedding’s on Saturday then I come right home on Sunday and work Sunday night… fun. We’ll be apart for a couple nights, :o( give us a break, we’ve been apart one night since we got married!

I started in Orangeville yesterday, it seems like good place to work, all we did was orientation. Today when I go to work I will be starting my training. It shouldn’t be too difficult since I worked in the shelburne plant before.
