While Debra was gone, I was invited back home for man night, which wouldn’t be complete without pizza and Terminator 3. It was fun spending time with Ken & Adam. Adam & I went to Buffalo yesterday to pick up Debra, we left shortly after work. It is so great to have her back home! She’s still pretty sick, but hopefully being home will help her to start feeling a bit better.

This is my amazing sister on her wedding day! I loved how angelic she looked in this picture, so I hand edited out all the backgrounds stuff. She belongs in a Bridal Magazine! It was so great to see her get married! ~Debra
I’m Back!
Hey all!
I am finally back to Canada! Its so nice to be home. I had a wonderful time in California. Aside from being sick as a dog. As of today, I have been sick for one full week. This really sucks. I started feeling pretty sick on Thursday ( a few days before the wedding), I ended up staying up half the night puking my brains out… YUCK! Thank God my night in shining armor was there to take care of me. =) Well, ever since Thursday its all been down hill. I woke up on the wedding morning with a 101 degree fever. My goodness. I was so sad. I started bawling, because I felt like I wasn’t going to be able to fulfill my role as “Matron of Honor.” But I made it through ok! We had a great day. As soon as the wedding reception was over I crashed. I sat on the floor watching everyone clean up… =( Then my friend Mrs. Satterberg was nice enough to take Norm and I home! That was great. So the rest of my trip to California consisted of laying on the couch in the living room watching TV. From morning till night. It was great to spend time with my family. They took great care of me, although I was missing my husband a great deal. So on Tuesday night I went to the airport, sick as anything, and traveled home. Let me tell you, I don’t suggest flying when you are sick. I felt like I was going to puke, and my sinus was sooooo stuffed up that the pressure was unbearable. Oh well. I am finally home and can now hopefully get better! Mom brought us a lasagna. That was so nice of her, since I can’t exactly cook right now. =) Thanks Ma! And Thanks to my fam at home for taking care of me! And Norm too!!!!
I sense Insomnia in my future….
So, its 7am, I just finished my first shift of midnights. I was pretty tired when I left for work, but I’m actually not feeling that bad right now. My mind and stomach are confused… Should I eat breakfast or dinner? The sun should be setting now…. Wait a second it’s getting lighter… Things like that. We’ll see how it all goes. Oh…. The weirdest thing happened in the airport last Thursday. I was sitting next to this Chinese man who was eating a sandwich he had bought at a nearby stand. I see this blind lady walking toward us, led by her seeing-eye dog. Just as they pass by us, the dog very smoothly snatches the sandwich out of the grasp of the Chinese man. The dog gobbled it down and it’s blind owner had no idea. That dog really knows how to play the system……

It was a great trip, despite tiredness and sickness. My poor Debra Lynn had the flu most of the week with a nasty fever. God gave her the strength though to be an awesome matron of honour for Kathleen. I know though that God designed all the tiredness, the sickness, and the joys of the weekend, and so I wouldn’t want it any other way, He has a reason for all of it. Anyways, I now have to go off to work…. looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow.

I just arrived back from California. Gregg & Kath…

I just arrived back from California. Gregg & Kathleen’s wedding was great! It was awesome to see two people who’s desire is to glorify God come together. It was a crazy weekend for everyone… one of little sleep for me. Here’s Deb and I at the wedding.

The Bride & Grandpa John! Grandpa John’s always an encouragement to his grandkids, especially to me!

The newest addition to my family! Meet Gregory Bowcock

The night before the wedding, a car drove right through the front window at Charlie’s work, Showcase Kitchen & Baths. No Critter, it’s not your fault.
What? Just because I’m Mexican you think I’m your waiter? ~ Ruben

Another great part of the trip was seeing Abby, Debra’s beloved puppy. I’ll be finding Abby hairs in our house for the next two months….

A beautiful rainbow after heavy rainfall all week.

A trip to California is never complete without it….
Missin’ my wife!! :o(

Well, today I drove Debra Lynn to the airport before work…. in Buffalo. Yes, it has been a long day already and I haven’t even started work. I’m going to miss Debra like crazy, luckily I get to see her on Thursday when I fly down to California. She’ll have lots of fun down there hanging out with her sisters. Not only will I miss her so much, but I may have to make my own lunches…. yes, I’m sure you all feel my pain.
