Garden Bros. Circus
I just bought Norm and I tickets to the Garden Bros. Circus! We are so excited. We have never been to the circus together. The cool thing is, the circus will be in the Sky Dome (one of Toronto’s attractions…). I haven’t been there! Yeah! This is my present to Norm for our one year anniversary… Its one month early, but the circus is in town only this weekend! We are sooooo excited! We’ll make sure to post how it went!!

Success!
Today was a beautiful day! It was -8, but the sun was shining! I loved seeing the sun shine so beautifully! I successfully delivered the mail today. I am feeling 100% now! Yeah! I am so glad. I had a good day. My grandpa gave Norm and I the Bible on tape, so I brought a tape with me for listening material while on the mail run! Well, the mail run lasted 5 hours and the tape is about 1-1.5 hours long… can you calculate how many times we listened to it?? Yep a lot! It was so nice to listen to that and talk about all the different subjects! Tomorrow I am taking the whole set. We might listen to the gospels, since I will be doing the mail all next week too, we will have plenty of listening hours! Well, I gotta run… the dirty dishes are calling my name! ~Debra

Rain or Shine….But what about sickness?
As you all know we are now night owls… so when it comes to having a part time job during the day, it doesn’t work so well… I was supposed to go do the mail today in Shelburne…which I did. I was also supposed to do it the end of last week… which I didn’t do! I have now been sick for just under 2 weeks. I tried to get some sleep last night, but my night owl clock wouldn’t allow it. So I got about 3 hours of sleep before I headed off to deliver the mail. Needless to say, I was sick. I thought for sure I would be better by now, so I hadn’t found a replacement for today. When I walked up to the lady I was helping, she looked like she had seen a ghost… which she had… ME! I am so pale and sunken in from sickness… and insomnia! Well, she asked me about 100 times if I was ok to deliver the mail with her… I kept putting a smile on my face and saying yes! But she started to worry when I kept pausing when I opened the mail box to put the mail in… and I was quiet as a mouse… (very uncommon). So about 3 hours in she sent me home… I guess I wasn’t helping her enough… =) She found someone else to help her with the last 2 hours… Thank God! I was so worried I was going to puke all over the mail. Do you know how much trouble I would get into if I did that???? Yikes. Oh well, I am home now and trying to get better. We found a replacement for tomorrow and Wednesday. So Lord willing I will be back at it by Thursday! Ok I am sure that was boring… talk to you later when I actually have something exciting to report! =) ~Deb
Hey there, I was looking through old pictures and…

Hey there, I was looking through old pictures and found this great action shot of my bro. One of Ken’s trademark moves, jumping over one or more GTs. This is at Murray’s Mountain, incidentally where Ken also fractured his skull.
I Peter 4
I was just reading I Peter 4 and was astounded at all the awesome truths in it. The verse that struck me the most was verse 19, how simply it says that God will never fail you. It’s such an absolute, its not ‘he will rarely fail you’, or ‘he’ll be there for you most of the time’ but that HE will NEVER fail you. It also reminded me of the right way to look at trying circumstances in my life, by looking at them with an eternal perspective. It is NO shame to suffer for being a Christian, actually, it’s a privilege! (vs.16) Anyways, there’s just a couple random thoughts that came to mind when reading that chapter.

Yes…. it’s Sunday morning, 6:30am, and yes, we’re just about to go to bed. We’re still getting used to the whole midnights thing. Our bodies are getting used to it, but it still seems weird to go to bed when the sun is coming up. So what did we do all night? Well, we found some jello in the closet, so we made that. We watched The Sound of Music, all 3 hours of it, what a flick…. Maybe tomorrow night we’ll watch fiddler on the roof. We attempted to solve a bunch of logic puzzles, some succesfully, some not. hmm…. gotta go to church in a couple hours, better get some shuteye

Bronchitis
Well, after a week of sickness I finally gave in and went to the walk in clinic! Gosh! So now I know I have bronchitis… and most likely had the flu as well. YUCK. Oh well, I am now on drugs and will hopefully be better soon. YEAH! Maybe then I can start unpacking from my trip. When you’re sick, its all about survival, the last thing you can do is unpack and clean the house, I NEED A MAID! Oh well. Hopefully the house will not combust before I get to it in about 24 hours! OK fine the house will be fine, but I don’t know about me… messiness drives me up the wall. =) But at least its all my fault. Not like Norm is sitting on the couch eating and watching TV. He takes such great care of me, and does all he can with his time while he is home from work. =)
